Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is a British-Canadian actress best known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She reprised the role in the films Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010). She was also known as the lead actress in Police Academy Big Trouble In Little China Mannequin & Porky's. Kim Cattrall comes to mind whenever you think of her character Samantha Jones on the hit HBO television show Sex & the City. Cattrall is an established actor whose role as Samantha Jones in the popular TV sitcom Sex and The City was a turning stage in her career. The show not only increased her popularity with the nation's viewers, but also helped make her a global star, giving her much fame and recognition. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known role was portraying the character La Dolce Vita, a comedy drama. The film was both a critical and commercial success and won both the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. Born in Sweden in the city of Skane, she was a model prior to her acting profession. In the end, she was crowned Miss Sweden contest. In the US her first appearance was in movies playing minor role. The first time she appeared was on screen in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars as an Venusian. Her first credit role was in the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars, where she was a guard from Venus.
